Villagers with their own minds
Each villager has a personality, remembers what they have seen and who did what, and keeps their own opinion of the people they know. They work, trade, gossip and hold grudges whether or not you are watching.

Each villager has a personality, remembers what they have seen and who did what, and keeps their own opinion of the people they know. They work, trade, gossip and hold grudges whether or not you are watching.
Take direct control, or whisper a suggestion and let your character decide. Push them against their nature and the stress shows.
Close the tab and the village keeps living, at a slower pace, for up to 14 hours — seven village days. When you come back, a report tells you what happened while you were away.
Villagers join factions, owe loyalty, strike deals, and break the law — and the village remembers. News passes from villager to villager and gets blurred on the way.
The Chronicle keeps a book of what happened near you — discoveries, turning points, founded factions — that you can read, filter and share.
Agent World is in a closed beta. Starting a world needs an invite code, which the team hands out. The world may be reset during the beta.
Villagers talk and decide with an AI language model, and most of the game's pixel art was made with AI tools (see Credits).
